You will recall that, the Deputy Minister of information Hon. Pius Enam Hadzide announced his tour to the Volta Region on 5th June, 2020 to educate the people on the Coronavirus pandemic and president Akufo-Addo’s developmental projects in the Volta Region.
Speaking on a Keta based radio station Jubilee radio, he assured the people of Volga Region especially residents of the Keta Municipality of government’s plans to construct the Keta harbour as promised by Nana Akufo-Addo including securing fund and awarding of project.
Hon. Pius explained that, it’s not only an official sod cutting that indicates that work has began on the project but a lot work has already been done on the building of the harbour even without an official sod cutting ceremony.
He also said, the architectural plan for the harbour has been drawn already, and now, they’re looking for a strategic investor.

The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Edem Agbana has exposed the Deputy Information Minister Hon. Pius Enam Hadzide for peddling falsehood about the construction of the Keta Port in the Volta Region.
According to Mr. Edem Agbana, the Deputy Information Minister is jumping from one radio station to another in the Volta Region telling lie about the performance of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.
“You are moving from one radio station to another in the Volta Region Peddling Falsehood about the performance of the government.” He disclosed.
The Deputy National Youth Organizer is daring Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide to tell the good people of Volta Region on President Akufo-Addo’s government source of funding to construct the Keta Port and the Contractor the said project has been awarded to.

“Among your many blatant lies , you said funding has been secured for the KETA PORT, Contract was awarded and project will begin soon. Can you tell us the source of funding ? Who the project has been awarded to and when it is to start?” He challenged.
Mr. Agbana has also called on the Deputy Information Minister to quickly render an apology to Ghanaians and all Voltarians for President Akufo-Addo’s shamefully appointing a director for a non-existing Keta Port who is being paid by tax payers money since March 2019.
“You should be apologizing to our people for shamefully appointing a director for a non-existing port since March 2019 and he is being paid.” He proposed.
“Pius, our region expects better from us as young politicians. If you cannot advocate for developmental projects, at least respect them by being truthful. It is an insult to think you will buy airtime on radio stations in the region to peddle unintelligent lies.” He said.

The young NDC Deputy Youth Organizer is also daring Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide to make himself available at the radio stations he peddled the falsehood for them to further debate the issue for truth to prevail.
“I dare you to make yourself available for us to go round those same radio stations and speak to the issues again. I am serving you notice , I won’t let your lies slide. I will go back and expose you. I wish to do it with you in the studios but knowing you, I know you will not make yourself available. Whatever it is , Your many lies will be exposed. Shame on You Mr Deputy Minister!” He concluded.
