KNUST issues important notice to freshers
The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has issued an important notice to all freshers.
The University congratulations all freshers on their admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the best university in the world for quality education (SDG 4).
Assistance for campus movement
From the notice, it was indicated that as part of the University’s Safe Arrival Protocols, there will be University Officials, University Security, and Police Personnel stationed at vantage points to assist students in finding their way around the University Campus.
Activities/Dates For First Semester Of 2023/2024 Academic YearÂ
Below is the list of activities and their respective dates:
- Arrival – Saturday, January 6, 2024
- Online Course Registration – Wednesday, January 3 – Monday, February 5, 2024
- Biometric Registration – Saturday, January 6 – Monday, February 5, 2024
- Residential Orientation (Halls & Hostels) – Sunday, January 7 – Friday, January 12, 2024
- Academic Orientation: College, Faculty, Department – Tuesday, January 9 – Friday, January 13, 2024
- Medical Examination for all categories of students – Thursday, January 4 – Friday, February 9, 2024
- Lectures Start – Monday, January 15, 2024
- Matriculation – Tuesday, February 6, 2024
- Matriculation (IDL) – Saturday, February 10, 2024
Vital notice
- Students who fail to register within the stipulated period as stated in the table above will automatically be deemed deferred.
- Students MUST do both Online Course and Biometric Registrations to be deemed duly registered KNUST Students.
- Students who are yet to secure accommodation are to visit: kosass.knust.edu.gh to book a room or report to the Directorate of Student Affairs (DoSA) for assistance.
- Students/Parents who are not coming to the University with their own vehicle are advised to board ONLY KNUST embossed Taxis at the Tech-Junction
- Virtual Orientation for freshers can be viewed via: orientation.knust.edu.gh/live
