In an effort to advance the field of e-learning and maintain high standards of practice, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced the Call for Abstracts for the E-Learning Ghana Conference 2024. This second edition of the annual international conference will be held in July and aims to foster excellence in e-learning across diverse disciplines.

KNUST’s E-Learning Centre is taking the lead in planning and coordinating this prestigious event. The conference will provide a platform for educators, administrators, trainers, technology experts, policymakers, and investors to come together and engage in capacity building, advocacy, discussions, and planning of e-learning-related activities.

The theme of the conference, “Fostering Excellence in E-Learning Across Diverse Disciplines: Progress, Challenges and Prospects,” reflects the commitment of KNUST and the participants to advance the field of e-learning in Ghana and beyond.

The conference will explore various sub-themes and topics, including pedagogical innovations, technology integration in education, multidisciplinary online teaching and learning environments, assessment strategies, inclusive e-learning practices, research and supervision using e-learning platforms, policy and regulatory standards, strategic leadership and management, industry and digitalization, student-led innovations, teacher professional development, and digital advancements in health education.

Abstracts are invited from researchers, practitioners, and experts in the field of e-learning. The submission of abstracts can be done via the official conference website at bit.ly/e-learning24. The deadline for abstract submission is April 13, 2024. Accepted abstracts will be notified by May 10, 2024.

The conference will feature various sessions, including oral presentations, interactive poster sessions, and workshops. Participants can expect a comprehensive program that covers the latest trends, challenges, and advancements in e-learning across diverse disciplines.

Important dates to note include the opening of participant registration on February 22, 2024, the deadline for presenters to register on June 21, 2024, and the deadline for other participants to register on June 28, 2024. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to submit their revised papers by June 30, 2024. The conference itself will take place on July 11 and 12, 2024.
