“Kofi Kinataa is still my Artist of the Year” – Samini

Ghanaian Raggae and Dancehall Star  Emmanuel Andrews Sammini popularly known as Samini had said that Kofi Kinataa is his Artist of the Year.

Yesterday, 29th June, 2020 the award ceremony of the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was held in Accra where hiplife Musician was awarded Artist of the Year.

However, after the award ceremony, many Ghanaians have been lamenting that Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata should have rather been crowned artist of the year because of his hard work.

Adding his voice to why Kofi Kinaata should have been crowned artist of the Year, renowned dancehall star Samini indicated that, even though someone else have been crowned artist of the year, Kofi Kinaata is still his Artist of the the year.

In a tweet, Samini wrote;

@KinaataGh you are still my Artist of the year son…I’m sure my bias stances Will be neutralized as a lot more people hold same opinion but #VGMA has it’s ways of shocking us all sometimes sad
