Let’s come together as one big Ghanaian family. There’s strength in our diversity – Mahama

While Ghanaians join the Islamic community to celebrate, honour and outdoor the highly hyped Eid al-Fitr in the Coronavirus era, tomorrow, Sunday, 23rd May, 2020, the former president and the flagbearer of the largest opposition political party National Democratic Congress (NDC), H.E John Dramani Mahama has ahead of time wished all,a memorable occasion.

H.E John Dramani Mahama appealed to every Ghanaian to remain kind, objective, loving and be united to help build a stronger nation. He therefore called on every citizen of Ghana to come together in forming one big family. He added that, there is strength in the Ghanaian diversity. “Let’s be kind to one another, Let’s come together united as one big Ghanaian family. There is strength in our diversity. God bless you. God bless Ghana.”

Mr. Mahama has also wished all gone souls well and prayed to the Almighty Allah to forgive every individual who has passed on. “All thanks and praise be to Almighty Allah. May Allah accept our prayers, fasting and Zakat. May Allah forgive our loved ones who passed on and grant them Janatul Firdaus.” He said.

The former President also called on the Ghanaian populace to help remember the poor and the vulnerable while they celebrate the occasion. “As we celebrate this Eid al-Fitr with family and friends, let’s remember those less fortunate than us.”
