Life in USA is boring, so I decided to return to Ghana to continue teaching – Dr. Wilfred Akapanga

A Ghanaian known as Dr. Wilfred Akapanga who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Reality Maker Limited and a Business Coach says life in the United States of America (USA) is boring, so he decided to return to Upper East region, Ghana to continue teaching.
Speaking in an interview on the “State of the Nation,” Dr. Akapanga spoke about life in America and how it comes with boredom despite earning what is expected at the end of the month or work period.
Dr. Akapanga detailed that “I lived in a Ghanaian family home for about a week and apparently, the man was living with his nephew that we never set eyes on for those number of days.
“What was the reason? He only came out at night to work because he hadn’t gotten his papers right”.
According to Dr. Akapanga, he can not bear such a level of distance and boredom even though he will earn money from the work he is doing.

Life to him is not only about earning money; life should also be laced with love for family and a great time.
Due to such associated imbalances with living in the U.S., he does not fancy life outside his home, Upper East, Ghana.
He, Dr. Akapanga would rather stay in the Upper East Region, Ghana, and tap the untapped opportunities available for a massive blow in the world of business (his current state).

Based on his short stay in America and experiencing their culture, he concluded that life in America is boring and can not give him the needed peace of mind and joy he desires to operate fully in order to achieve his long-term life goals.
“Some people may fancy that life but I didn’t fancy it. I love my freedom to do things the way I want and I think that life is all about happiness,” he stressed on his freedom.
Advising, CEO Dr. Akapanga said there are countless opportunities in Ghana that the youth can tap into in order to improve their lives here instead of focusing on traveling to the States for greener pastures.
Further, he shared the same idea of some development watchers saying that if checks are not placed on issues of this caliber, the continent, of Africa will be left with less experienced professionals in all sectors because, they can’t take, control, and manage risk.

Africa will be left with the unavailability of experienced professionals because the greater population is rooting for the West.
The youth should assess their immediate community(ies) and “carve” businesses that will address problems and help them earn money, develop their home, nation, and the continent at large just like how America, Europe, Arabs, etc have made their homes attractive for Africans to explore in order to satisfy their wants and desires on a topmost rank scale.
