List of 17 Political Parties which have their Certificates Cancelled in Ghana

The Electoral Commission (EC) of the Republic of Ghana has announced the cancellation of seventeen (17) political parties certificates on Monday, 14th November, 2022.
Mrs. Jean Mensa led Electoral Commission (EC) made known the full list of political parties in the country which certificates have been terminated indefinitely.
According to the Electoral Commission, the affected political parties cannot contest for any election in the country.
EC further explained that, the political parties have no offices at the national and regional levels as required by section 15 (1) (Act 574), one major reason for the termination of their certificates.
“Pursuant to the publication by the Electoral Commission dated 13th & 17th October 2022, the General Public is hereby informed that the Registration Certificates of the under-listed Political Parties have been cancelled in accordance with Section 15 (3) (c) of the Political Parties Law, 2000 (Act 574) effective the 1st day of November 2022.”

2. Democratic People’s Party (DPP)
3. Every Ghanaian Living Everywhere (EGLE)
4. Ghana Democratic-Republican Party (GDRP)
5. Ghana National Party (GNP)
6. National Reform Party (NRP)
7. New Vision Party (NVP)
8. People’s Action Party (PAP)
9. Power Unity Party (PUP)
10. Reform Patriotic Democrats (RPD)
11. United Development System Party (UDSP)
12. United Front Party (UFP)
13. United Ghana Movement (UGM)
14. United Love Party (ULP)
15. United Progressive Party (UPP)
16. United Renaissance Party (URP)
17. Yes People’s Party (YPP)
