Mafi-Dove Murder: Police release preliminary investigation; Arrest 3 suspects

The Operation Motherland Sitrep for Aveyime, Battor, Mepe and Sogakope Environs in the three Tongu Enclaves of the Volta Region have announced the preliminary investigations into the murder of a 13 years old boy who was murdered by one Emmanuel Tsidi Doe in evening of Sunday, 29th August, 2021.
According to the Police, on 29th August, 2021, at about 2200hrs, a distress call was received from Tornyi Oppong Martin, a Community Policing Assistant (CPA) to the effect that a 13year old boy, later identified as KOFI, has been murdered at AFLORKOPE – DOVE village within the jurisdiction.

The statement said, Operation motherland personnel proceeded to the scene of crime and arrested suspect EMMANUEL TSIDI DOE, aged 22 years, an okada operator. The suspect was immediately interrogated in the presence of witnesses and he stated that suspect Madam FLODA EKPE, aged 52 years, the priestess of SHELTER PENTACOSTAL CHURCH PRAYER CENTRE at Aflorkope allegedly instructed him to provide her with a human head for some rituals.
The VICTIM head was found behind the house of suspect madam priestess Floda Ekpe and the headless body found in the BLAKOE STREAM at Aflorkope – Dove village.
The third suspect madam ADIKU OKUDZETO, aged 60years, who attended the Shelter Pentecostal church prayer centre for healing prayers who also allegedly played significant role in the murder of the innocent boy was arrested.
Body of the deceased deposited at the ROMAN CATHOLIC HOSPITAL, Battor for preservation and autopsy.
The three suspects in Aveyime Police custody assisting in investigations. Development will be reported accordingly.
