Mahama Ayariga commissions 42 boreholes for Bawku Municipality

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bawku Central constituency, Honorable Mahama Ayariga has commissioned forty-two (42) boreholes for residents of Bawku Municipality.

Bawku Municipality for years have been facing numerous challenges including the lack of access to portable water. The commissioning of the 42 boreholes for the people of Bawku municipality has taken away their water burden.

The outspoken legislature in a speech called on the people of the area to maintain peace before, during and after the general election.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to the press indicated that they were overwhelmed by the water initiative and asked for God’s blessings on the law maker.

Hon. Ayariga seeks re-election with contest from Paul Agobire of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He however called on the supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain peaceful and give his opponents the opportunity to express their opinions when they call on them.
