A staunt Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the President and Executive Chairman of Eurostar Global Limousine Group Oscar Yao Doe has called on the legal team of John Dramani Mahama (Petitioner) to add a Senior Journalist of Joy News, Evans Mensah as a prime withnes to address vote padding in the December 2020 general elections.
His call came following the Supreme Court’s direction to John Dramani Mahama to file his withnes statement by Wednesday, 27th January, 2021 or has his petition dismissed by the seven (7) member panel judges.
In a statement, Oscar Yao Doe said, “Election 2020 Petition! Vote Padding: Few Hours To The Supreme Court Deadline: John Mahama’s Legal Team Must Add Evans Mensah Of Joy News As Prime Withnes To Address Vote Padding. On The 8th Of December 2020 Early Down I Saw With My Own Eyes On TV How Evans Mensah And Co Host Announcing Claimed? Presidential Collation Results? And To My Surprise Some Of The Constituency Results Has 98% , 95% And 92% Voter Turnout Respectively. The Question Is Was Evans Mensah Drunk? Or Naive? Or Did It Deliberately? He Must Be Call As A Withnes And Also A Suspect To Substantiate The Fraudulent Results He Published On Joy News And Most Importantly Where Exactly Did He Get The Results From?”
According to him, per the 2nd Respondent (President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s) Own Defence They Made Reference To Media Publication Of Results, Which In Their View Compliment The EC’s Fraudulent Announcement. So Calling Evans Mensah Could Be Extremely Helpful To The Court.
See Below 2nd Respondent Claims as unveiled by the learned Oscar Yao Doe:
He stated that more than thirty-eight thousand polling station results witnessed by the general public and international observers attest to his win.
He further responded in paragraph 35 of his Answer that the results were “corroborated by all media houses of note in the country as well as many local and international observers”.
With this, Oscar Yao Doe believes that, it is obvious Evans Mensah of Joy News is a prime withnes of December 2020 general elections vote padding.
