Juventus Duorinaah: Who is Juventus Duorinaah?

Lawyer Juventus Duorinaah is the first Ghanaian Deaf Lawyer. He is a native of Wa, Upper West Region (U/W Region). Despite his disability status, he did not give up on his dream. He pursued Law and got called to the bar for practice.

Educational background of Juventus Duorinaah

Lawyer Juventus Duorinaah hails from Wa in the Upper West Region and had his basic education in the same town, Wa School for the Deaf. In 2007, Mr. Juventus Duorinaah completed his education at the Senior High Technical School for the Deaf (SHTSD).

University education: Juventus Duorinaah

Lawyer Juventus Duorinaah, after completing SHS, pursued a Degree in Sociology and Political Science at the University of Ghana (UG), Legon, and graduated with First Class Honors. He then pursued a Master of Law, from the School of Law and Politics, Cardiff University, where he focused on Human rights Law. Back home, Ghana, lawyer Juventus pursued the law degree (LLB) program at the University of Ghana, from which he graduated with second-class lower honors. Lawyer Duorinaah successfully passed the entrance exams and entered into the Ghana School of Law.

Call to Bar

After six years of legal education with determination and perseverance, Mr. Duorinaah has been called to the bar. This significant accomplishment represents a milestone for the deaf community, as Mr. Duorinaah’s expertise will allow him to comprehensively understand and advocate for the rights of deaf individuals.
