Mr. Shaibu Ibrahim-Tanko is the Director of Sports for the University for Development Studies (UDS).

He has been elected as the President of the West African University Games (WAUG).

Mr. Tanko also doubles as the incumbent President of the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) and an executive member of the Africa University Sports Association (FASU).

He was once the Head coach for Real Tamale United.

In the world of football, Coach Shaibu Ibrahim-Tanko is known for his contribution. He has been a big pillar in football to deserve the current position as president of the West African University Games (WAUG).
