Menzgold’s reveals 60% of customers not eligible for payment after validation process
MENZGOLD
Nana Appiah Mensah, the CEO of the now-defunct Menzgold gold trading company, has revealed that more than sixty percent of the claims submitted for validation are beset with multiple issues.
On July 30th, Menzgold requested its customers to provide supporting documentation for validation purposes, expediting the payment process.
The company identified various problems with the submissions, encompassing discrepancies and incongruities within the documents, counterfeit supporting papers, forged authorized signatures, and alleged anomalies.
Nevertheless, Menzgold’s statement encouraged clients falling within the aforementioned bracket of over 60 percent to carry out an assessment of their gold trading transactions.
This evaluation would determine the legitimacy, invalidity, or any other aspects of the transactions, subsequently establishing the eligibility or ineligibility of their claims.
“Confident customers are advised to obtain a ‘Menzgold Traders Transactions Status Verification Access Card’ from Payboy Company Limited or its authorized agents,” Nana Appiah Mensah elaborated in the statement.
This card would provide a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for digital verification of the claim’s eligibility or lack thereof.
Payment to fully validated customers is expected to commence on October 20, 2023.
