Mohammed Ibrahim: Mastering the Act of Woodwork in Education

The Western North Region’s finest teacher who masters the act of Woodwork in Education, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim has been recognized by NTC. He is a teacher at Sefwi Wiawso Senior High Technical School located in Sefwi Wiawso District.

Mohammed is not just a teacher; he’s a woodwork maestro. He’s revolutionised woodwork teaching by integrating technology and using projectors to bring lessons to life.

His dedication to the craft led him to establish a workshop in Sefwi Wiawso, where he trained over 22 youths, moulding them into self-employed wood artisans. His commitment to woodwork innovation earned him the title of Best SHS Teacher in the Sefwi Wiawso municipality.

Beyond woodwork, Mohammed is deeply invested in his community. He’s currently mentoring 13 apprentices, ensuring skills transfer and community upliftment.
