Most politicians are only interested in making themselves rich – Bishop Agyinasare

Bishop Charles Agyinasare

The founder of Perez Chapel International Bishop Charles Agyinasare has directed his energy and anger towards selfish, self seeking and dishonest politicians who gain political power purposely to enrich themselves with wealth and luxuries at the expense of the poor individuals they represent.

The most Bishop Agyinasare during his visual Sunday Service said, most politicians in Ghana has nothing but make huge wealth within four (4) years in office. This according to him is very amazing because, some of such politicians sleep in rooms with leaking roofing sheets but will surprisingly acquire wealth which will amaze everyone.

He added that, most youth on the street are jobless because there are no jobs for them. The politicians who are suppose to create jobs for the youth are rather accumulating wealths for themselves and families.

He supported his message with the Bible verse 2Corinthian 7:14 that reads “For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which [I made] before Titus, is found a truth.”

He narrated his personal experience with some jobless saying “One day, l was driving home, l reached a traffic light and saw many young men and women running towards me for help. I asked myself what they are running for. To my surprise, these young people were running after me because of joblessness” He added.

“And so, a politician goes into government and suddenly in four years, he has a fleet of cars, a chain of houses; that is dishonest gain. You want to offer contracts, and already you collected 30% of the contract sum from the contractor, you will push the contractor to do a shoddy job. And you will be proud you have made money but that is dishonest gain.” He concluded.
