Mother burnt 12 year old daughter for misplacing ¢5 she was given to buy cigarette and alcohol

The woman, biological mother of the 12-year-old daughter, Cynthia Mensah has been reported to have burnt her daughter for misplacing the Gh¢5.00 she sent her little girl with to buy alcohol and cigarette.
The said incident happened in a town/area known as Kato in the Berekum East Municipality, Bono Region.
The little girl per reports said she was given a Gh¢5.00 note and Gh¢2.00 coin to purchase her mother’s cravings but the Gh¢5.00 got missing before she arrived at the place of purchase.
She (the biological mother) used a heated iron bar to press the chest of the victim.
The case was reported to the Police by the bar owner.
The suspect, Cynthia Mensah after the report has been arrested and is in the custody of the Police.
It was reported that the mother is fond of assaulting the victim (daughter) when she commits little mistakes but due to the caliber of the mother, she is, the neighbours find it difficult to intervene for peace to ruin.
However, the victim is said to be under treatment at the hospital while the law acts as expected.
