The founding President of IMANI Africa, Mr Franklin Cudjoe says it will be a major dent to the EC’s image if its lawyers succeed to have their own witness evade cross examination.
The lawyers of the Electoral Commission of Ghana have indicated that they will not be calling any witness in the ongoing election petition hearing at the Supreme Court.
If this request from the Electoral Commission’s lawyers is accepted by the Apex Court, it means that, Mrs Jean Mensa will not be cross examined by the lawyers of the petitioner.
Commenting on the issue, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe said that the Electoral Commission will have dented it’s image if the Electoral Commissioner evades cross examination.
In a tweet, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe said ;
It will be a major dent to the EC’s image if its lawyers succeed to have their own witness evade cross examination. Many lay people will think that moral victory will be the Petitioner’s if that happens. This is getting interesting than Imagined.
