The upcoming Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and advocate for dark-skinned women has been adjudged as the Best New Artist of the Year at the 2023 Ghana Art Entertainment Awards.
In a night filled with glitz, glamour, and sheer talent, the Ghana Art Entertainment Awards celebrated the best of the country’s creative industry in magnificent style at the Acra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Among the many deserving winners was a familiar face who graciously accepted an award that symbolized years of dedication and hard work.
Naja, a young but renowned figure in the Ghanaian music scene walked away with one of the evening’s most coveted prizes. Clutching the award with gratitude and humility.
She took to the stage amidst thunderous applause, saying, “Thank you Ghana Art Entertainment Awards for this honor. Having this award in my hand makes me feel great, knowing that my hard work has been rewarded.”
Naja went on to extend gratitude to the countless individuals who have played an integral role in her artistic journey.
“I am grateful to everyone who has always been a part of my journey, from my family to friends, from my boss to my team to my management, and everyone in between. May God bless you all,” she said.
Concluding, she (Naja) called for love and support of her musical journey saying “Please keep supporting my music because I have more to offer.”
