The Founder of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Former President of Ghana His Excellency John Agyekum Kufour has expressed satisfactions in the performances of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government for just three and a half years in government. He believes the current government has no competitor in terms of their achievement in their short period in office.

The former president who was addressing NPP party leadership at its 2020 Manifesto Launch through a virtual platform said, Ghanaians need to appreciate the good governance of President Akuffo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by accepting the NPP Manifesto and voting for them again in the December 2020 polls.

According to the founder of the party who successfully led this country between 2000 and 2008, President Nana Addo’s led NPP has performed tremendously by transforming and uplifting the good image of Ghana since he came into power as a result, Ghanaians must renew their mandate for another four more years to do more.

He further said, President Akufo-Addo’s government has done wonders which many, including him least expected and must be given another four years mandate.

“Within this period there is no alternative to the NPP government that has discharged its work so well…over the past three and half years they have done wonders Akufo-Addo and Bawumia over the last three years have done wonders, see how they have managed the COVID challenge, it has become world acclaimed, see how planting for food and jobs is performing, see how One District One Factory is performing…”

“We can’t stop recounting the very professional and competent performance of this government…  It’s in the interest of the nation to continue this…Ghanaians are recovering from the near slump experienced over three years ago…”
