The debate surrounding the building of a National Cathedral is not ending any soon as issues continue pooping up about the project.
As some Ghanaians applaud the Government for the project , others think the project is unnecessary and a waste of tax payers money.
Citizens against the building of the National Cathedral argue that the country has other pressing needs such as roads, schools and hospital projects that must be addressed instead of building a Cathedral for God.

However, a new dimension of those arguing for the project is that the building of the National Cathedral is economically viable and the revenue that will accrue from the use of the facility can be used to build roads, schools and hospitals.
Speaking during a phone in session on Joy Super Morning Show, a citizen said “At the end of the day, the economic benefits that will come from the cathedral will be used to do the hospitals and other things we need”
