The latest news picked by Coverghana.com.gh suggest that, some group of persons reported to be National Security Operatives have massed up at the Believers House Prayer Ministry at Ritz Junction in Madina to arrest the Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu.
According to reports, the supposed National Security Operatives have stationed their vehicle at the premises of Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu’s Church to effect his arrest today, 31st October, 2021.
The information aired by the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Edem Agbana said, a vehicle with a number plate Texas, GH-BANGA 1 was seen at the premises of the Church to arrest the Lawmaker.
Mr. Edem Agbana explained that, when the supposed National Security Operative realized the teaming youth of Madina were gathering to protect their Member of Parliament, then they quickly left.
This recent development is said to be in connection with the demonstration staged by the youth of Madina as supported by their MP for the bad nature of roads.
He was nearly arrested by the Police during the said demonstration, had it not been the support of the teaming and determined youths.
After the failed Police attempted to arrest Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu, he has petitioned Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin and cited ACP Isaac Kojo Asante, Regional Operations Commander and ACP Eric Winful, the Adenta/Abokobi Divisional Commander of Police for contempt of Parliamentary procedures arrest an MP.
It came as surprise to him upon seeing some alleged security personnel around his Church in an attempt to pick him over the same issues.
In reacting to the happening, Mr. Edem Agbana said, it’s clear that, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government is full of lawlessness.
He added that, the President, who is the Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces is the most lawless president Ghana has ever had, as articulated by a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe.
He praised the youth of Madina and called on them to be on the alert, because these hoodlums don’t give up.
