NDC believes in Ghana’s future not Akufo-Addo’s families and friends governance – Mahama 

The discussions on families and friends governance among communicators of the two major political parties thus; the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the largest opposition party the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are still on the rise. Both parties blame and criticize each other for running families and friends government.

In the midst of these, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has the view that, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed his relatives, families and friends into sensitive and high hierarchy or positions in the NPP government.

Buttressing on that, the former president who is the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said the NDC, believes is developing and promoting the image of Ghana. According to him, the party always has a vision to build Ghana on a strong economy and social interventions for all but not the families and friends government of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

“NDC believes in Ghana’s future. We have always had a vision to build a country that will be a Regional Powerhouse, providing economic and social opportunities for all Ghanaians and not just a few relatives and friends.” He explained.

Mr. Mahama also reaffirmed that, his next government will promote a trustworthy, transparent, vibrant and safe democracy.

“As leader and flagbearer of this great party, I come to you, the good people of Ghana, and on the occasion of our 28th Anniversary, to once again confirm that the next NDC and John Dramani Mahama administration will guarantee you a stable, vibrant and safe democracy.” He said.
