NDC supporters perform sacrifices, invoke curses, call on Volta gods to strike EC officials (+PHOTOS)

Thousands of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters and  the people of Keta and Anlo constituencies made serious protest on the principal street of Anlo and Keta to the Electoral Commission’s District office.

The  protest is geared towards the Electoral Commission’s declaration of the presidential results during 2020 elections, which they described as fraudulent and rigged.

During the protest, the NDC supporters and the people of the area performed sacrifices, poured libations, invoked curses and called on Volta gods to strike EC officials who rigged the December 2020 Polls in favour of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The libation was poured to invite the gods of  Anlo Land to get into the matter to bring the Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress Mr. John Dramani Mahama into power. The gods of Volta region including Nogokpo, Klikor among others were also invited to strike NDC officials who conspired and rigged the elections.

Women protesters also drag their buttocks on the ground to curse Electoral Commission officials who were involved in the rigging activities especially Mrs. Jean Mensa for fraudulently declaring the elections in favour of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The demonstration was attended by some key personalities of the party from the Constituency level, the Regional Secretariat and the national front including but not limited to;

Hon. James Gonu, NDC regional secretary, Joseph Kabila, NDC regional youth organiser, Lawyer Chris Akumey, Sylvester A. Mensah, Hon Richard Sepe, MP elect, Anlo constituency, Emmanuel Tay, Keta constituency secretary, Honorable Joseph Agbeko Kpogo.
