The opposition National Democratic Congress has promised to make University Education free for fresh students the 2020/2021 academic year.
The National Democratic Congress in it’s 2020Â manifesto promised to absorb 50% of fees for all tertiary students in the country.
However, the party has revealed that it has amended the Manifesto promise of the Party and has now decided to absorb all fees for fresh tertiary students in the country for the 2020/2021 academic year.
In a press release signed by the chairman of the party Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo said “The National Democratic Congress (NDC), announces that it has accepted for incorporation in the Peoples’Â Manifesto, the recommendation of the Education Poicy Group of the party that the next
NDC govemment absorbs the FULL school fees of Ghamaian students who will be admitted to tertiary institutions in the 2020/2021 academic year.”

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), announces that it has accepted for incorporation in the Peoples’ Manifesto, the recommendation of the Education Poicy Group of the party that the next
NDC Government absorbs the FULL school fees of Ghanaian students who will be admitted to tertiary institutions in the 2020/2021 academic year.
This policy is an enhancement of our commitment in the People’s Manifesto to absorb 50% of the school fecs of all tertiary students for the 2020/2021 academic year through the “KYEMUPE”
policy, which will now apply to only continuing students in tertiary institutions in the country.
The Flagbearer of he Party, H.E John Dramani Mahama will in due course, throw more light on his enhanced package for Ghanaian students who be admitted to tertiary institutions next year
dubbed, “FA NINYINAA”.
