Information intercepted has confirmed that, new transport fares have been released as fuel price goes up.
Sources disclosed that, the Ghana Private Roads Transport Union (GPRTU) has announced a 20% increment in transport fares slated to be effective come 13th May, 2022.
This came up as the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers-Ghana (COPEC), has stated that its projection for the pricing window exhibits that prices of petroleum merchandise will see a marginal increase of 3% from Sunday May 1, 2022.
In view of this, the decision has been taken to make adjustments to the existing transport fares in some parts of Accra.
