The President of Nigeria Mahammadu Buhari attributed the land size and population of Nigeria to the challenges the nation is battling with even though his government is doing the best for his people.
The statement made by President Buhari was disclosed by his Spokesperson, Malam Garba Shehu on Tuesday, 13th December 2022.
Malam Garba Shehu said President Buhari made the said statement when he welcomed Sheikh Al-Mahfoudh Bin Bayyah the General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Forum including his Deputy Pastor Bob Roberts from the States when he visited him (Buhari) in Washington, United States.
The presence of Sheikh Al-Mahfoudh Bin Bayyah the General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Forum including his Deputy Pastor Bob Roberts according to Buhari’s Spokesperson was to inform the President and invite him to the Abu Dhabi Foundation’s award.
Also to see the way forward on curbing religious extremism, and promoting peaceful coexistence and dialogue among all other religions.
Buhari used this opportunity where he told the visitors about how Nigerians are devoted to the country hence he will do his best to fight terrorism and religious barriers affecting their daily activities to the core.
