The President of Ghana, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed that COVID-19 vaccination is part of the new requirements to obtaining a Visa to Ghana.
Speaking in his 28th update to the measures taken in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, the President stated that effective 28th March, 2022, Ghana’s missions in other countries will make the possession of a vaccination certificate a requirement to giving out Visas to visa applicants.
The President further added that persons in possession of COVID-19 vaccination certificates will not be required to undertake the mandatory COVID testing at the country’s airport.
