NSMQ former contestants: List of NSMQ contestants who graduated from tertiary
The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) since its inception has groomed thousands of students or contestants and made them world-class “employees” and “employers”.
In this article, Coverghana.com.gh has compiled names, universities attended, and programmes the former NSMQ contestants read at the university.
These contestants have earned a career/profession for themselves. They have achieved a milestone and will make a significant impact in their lives and for others. Their success is the testimony of focus, devotion, hard work, and commitment to academic eminence.
Their (the go-getters) success in the path they choose will hoist the flag of their motherland, Ghana, and call for investors to build a future for many other upcoming contestants who will also showcase their prowess in the area of academics as far as NSMQ competition is concerned.
Below is the list of the former NSMQ contestants
1. Prempeh College NSMQ 2017 Champions
Former contestant Wonder Sarfo-Ansah graduated from the University of Ghana (UG), Legon Medical School. The other two (2) contestants Daniel Osei Badu and Kofi Konadu Boakye graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Medical School.
2. Holy Child School NSMQ 2017 Contestant
Antwiwaa Yiadom-Boakye from Holy Child School is now a graduate of Medical School.
3. 2019 NSMQ Winning Team: St. Augustine’s College
The central contestant for the team by name Anthony Papa Eliason has graduated from KNUST with First Class Honors in Electrical Engineering.
4. Aburi Girls’ SHS NSMQ 2017 Contestant
Rachel Amaning Kwarteng, the 2017 NSMQ contestant has graduated from Medical School.
She emerged as the 3rd Best Overall Student in Ghana for the 2017 WASSCE.
5. Holy Child School NSMQ 2017 Contestant
Jochebed Adwoa Sutherland has graduated from Medical School.
She emerged as the Overall Best Student in both Ghana and West Africa during WASSCE 2017.
The NSMQ leadership congratulated their journey and accomplishments. Ghanaians and the world also showed them love and motivation as they transitioned to the world of work and family grooming.
