NSS invites requests from Private Sector user agencies for 2023/2024 service year deployment
The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has begun processing prospective national service personnel for deployment for the 2023/2024 service year.
In an official release signed by Ambrose Entsiwah Jnr. Acting. Director, Corporate Affairs, the Scheme said this year’s deployment is private sector driven and the Scheme intends to deploy more numbers of service personnel to the private sector.
Therefore, Private institutions are encouraged to submit more requests for service personnel to meet their growing manpower demands.
In addition, the release encouraged Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), banks, financial and educational institutions, hospitals, security agencies, and all those interested in hosting national service personnel in the 2023/2024 service year to put in formal requests to the Secretariat.
Further, the NSS listed details for submission.
All the requests must be submitted on official letterheads having:
- official addresses
- emails
- phone numbers
- locations of the Organizations
NUMBER OF NSS PERSONNEL NEEDED
NSS disclosed that user agencies are to indicate the number of national service personnel required and should specify the desired academic/professional qualifications.
Agencies with special needs are advised to contact the National Service Secretariat for discussions.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT NSS REQUEST
The Scheme mentioned that all requests must reach the National Service Secretariat before FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 2023.
