The National Teaching Council (NTC) has postponed the September 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) scheduled to be written in September.
The Council in its statement has postponed the examination scheduled to take place on 24th September, 2020 and 25th September, 2020 to next month 1st and 2nd October, 2020.
New Date for Examination
The Council has therefore brings to the attention of all candidates who have registered for the September 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) to prepare for the examination on 1st and 2nd October, 2020.

Deadline for Registration
Aside the postponement of the examination dates, the NTC has also extended the deadline for the September 2020 Licensure Examination Registration from Wednesday 9th September, 2020 to Friday, September 11, 2020.
Examination CentresÂ
NTC hereby informed all candidates that, some examination centres selected by them during the registration processes have been changed. According to the NTC, all candidates shall receive final details of the examination centres via SMS ahead of the examination or Candidates may also check their centres on NTC website (www.ntc.gov.gh

COVID-19 Safety Protocols
All candidates are advise to wear a face mask before, during and after each paper and must therefore follow all COVID-19 protocols including washing of hands, use of sanitizers and observance of social distance.
Examination Papers
Candidates who are sitting for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination shall write three different papers thus; Numeracy
Literacy, and Essential professional skills.

Examination Time
The first paper shall start at exactly 8:30 am. The Management of NTC is therefore asking all candidates to check their centres and report on time for the upcoming examination.
