The National Teaching Council has embarked on a mop-up exercise to issue licenses to outstanding professional teachers who have not yet received their license.
It should be noted that the council embarked on a nationwide issuance of license to professional teachers as part of the teacher professionalization process between June 2021 and August 2022.
Though the issuance of the license was successfully carried out, some teachers could not take part in the process due to various reasons.
In view of this, the council has decided to undertake a mop-up exercise at the various regional capitals. This exercise shall cover all qualified teachers, including those who graduated in 2021.
The schedule for the Central Region is stated as follows:
Teachers from Ewutu Senya East, Ewutu Senya West, Gomoa East, Agona West, Agona East, Efutu, Gomoa Central, Ekumfi, Ejumako Enyan Essien, Esikuma Odoben Brakwa, Abura_Aseibu_Kwamankese and Mfantseman will have their process done on 14 th and 15th November, 2022.
Also, teachers from Assin South, Assin North , Assin Fosu Municipal, Cape Coast Metro, Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira, Twifo Ati- Mokwa Municipal, Komenda- Edina – Eguafo- Abirem Municipal, Upper Denkyira East and Upper Denkyira West would also be attended to by the council between 16th and 17th November, 2022.
