The Honourable Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa popularly known as Togbe Worgbedzi has scheduled Free Eye Surgeries and treatments for his constituents.
The screening exercise which commences on 15th September, 2021 has so far identified over two-hundred and fifty (250) persons for free eye surgery and treatments.
The exercise is being carried out by the Lawmaker in collaboration with the Lifetime Wells Visions and Friends Eye Center, Tamale in the North Tongu Constituency.
According to Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Medical Outreach includes; Free Eye Screening, treatment, issuance of Medicated Glasses and Cataract Surgery.
FREE EYE SURGERIES AND TREATMENTS
Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa disclosed that, he has booked a special place at the Battor Catholic Hospital for the Free Eye Surgeries to all constituents who have special cases to be carried out by visiting specialists.
According to him, the cost will be borne by him and his partners.
WHO CARRIES OUT THE SURGEY AND SCREENING?
The Member of Parliament has deployed volunteer eye specialists to carry out eye screening exercise for his constituents across six (6) traditional areas. Over Ten Thousand (10,000) constituents in the North Tongu Constituency are booked to receive medicated eye glasses in the ongoing operation fix every eye condition exercise.

The people of North Tongu Constituency have turned out in their numbers to participate in the MP’s special health screening.

He reassured the MP that, the team of eye specialists will do their best to ensure operation fix every eye condition in North Tongu is successfully carried out.
