The unrelenting Member of Parliament for the good people of the North Tongu Constituency, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa with support from Lifetime Wells Visions together with Friends Eye Center Tamale, will be undertaking Medical Outreach which will involve screening of eye related ailments, treatments and minor surgeries for conditions that will require such interventions.

According to the Lawmaker, the exercise is scheduled for his constituents under Free Eye Screening, Treatment, Issuance of Medicated Glasses and Cataract Surgery.

He noted that, the health screening is going to be free for all citizens and dwellers of the North Tongu Constituency, where people with critical conditions will be treated.

Experienced health professionals from Lifetime Wells Visions and Friends Eye Center will be available to effectively carry out all tests.

The purpose of the Free Eye Screening is to minimize blindness among the people through treatment, issue of glasses at subsidized cost and offer free surgery if the need be.

The programme is billed to commence on September 15, 2021, and end on September 21, 2021.

The MP’s Eye Screening Project will take a Team of specialized medical Doctors to six communities within the constituency.
