The Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars team, Otto Addo has resigned as the coach of the Ghana National Team according to the information available.
This decision was made following Ghana’s 2:0 defeat against Uruguay and the team’s exit from the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
The Black Stars were defeated by Portugal in their opening game by 3 goals to 2.
In their second group stage game, the Black Stars defeated Korea Republic by 3:2 making the team secured three points.
In their final group stage games against Uruguay, Ghanaians were hopeful to see the Black Stars defeat Uruguay as a revenge of their defeat in 2010 FIFA World Cup tournament to Uruguay.
Unfortunately, the Black Stars were defeated again by Uruguay.
Following the defeat, the Head Coach, who cannot withstand the pressure and humiliation from the Ghanaian populace has resigned peacefully.
