The Head of the Economic Management Team, Vice President of Ghana has ones again lauded the New Patriotic Party administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said, their government has delivered on infrastructural development in their first three and a half years than that of the National Democratic Congress in eight (8) solid years.

Comparing infrastructural projects of the NPP government from January 2017 to August 2020, the Vice President said, the NDC has nothing to show in their first term in office.

According to him, all the key projects the National Democratic Congress mostly point to were completed in their second term of office. “We are however happy to compare our three and a half year record with their 8 year record.” He said.

In addition, the Vice President proudly told Ghanaians that, the data of the NPP’s infrastructural development reveals that they have provided in many districts over just three and a half years surpasses what the NDC provided in eight years.

Speaking at the government’s Virtual Town Hall and Results Fair at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (GAAS) on Tuesday, 18th August, 2020, the Vice President again challenged the National Democratic Congress to show Ghanaians what they accomplished by way of infrastructure initiated in their first term in office.

“We have done more while actually spending less as a percentage of GDP because of value for money. He further explained.” He said.

“Also, contrary to the propaganda, the evidence is that we have also completed or working to complete many projects that our government inherited. We have also put in place a solid base of digital infrastructure to propel the digital economy in Ghana.” The Vice President added.
