His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says, the New Patriotic Party government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and him have set up more factories in Ghana than any other government since Ghana gained independence.
According to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, the current New Patriotic Party government have initiated steps to set up a factory in each district of Ghana under the government’s agenda of “One District One Factory Programme” which have seen enemous improvement.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has alluded that, the initiative set up by them has made Ghana one of the topmost Africa countries in world through industrialization and Digitization.
Addressing a section of Ghanaians at the Ashesi University Campus, the Vice President said “We have more factories set up under our government than any other government since independence.”
