Football legend Pele aged 82 has passed away
The 3-time world cup winner Pelé has passed away today 29th December, 2022 at Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo.
Pelé was born Edson Arantes do Nascimento on 23rd October, 1940 in Três Corações, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil as the greatest Brazilian footballer on earth.
His football career commenced at a younger age. Pele made his first appearance at the World Cup in 1958 when he was only 17 years old.
At that time, he was the only youngest player in the Brazilian National Football team that represented their nation at the world cup tournament.
Before the demise of Pele at age 82, he scored 95 goals from the 114 matches he played for Brazil.
In official matches, Pele scored 77 goals which have been counted in the 95 goals he scored.
Pele was loved right from the start of his career. He is the role model of Messi and Ronaldo, among others who always aspire to be like the World Soccer Pioneer.
