Meet Bernice Dapaah, a Ghanaian female Entrepreneur that has taken up the the Initiative to addresses environmental degradation through the production of bicycles using cost effective environmentally friendly resources like bamboo.
Miss Bernice Dapaah, who is a Graduate of the Christian Service University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and also holds diploma in Human Resource Management and Marketing from the Institute of Commercial Management in the United Kingdom has ventured into the production of bamboo bicycles.
Her company, the Ghana Bamboo Bikes Initiative, is a social enterprise that employs most women to build low bicycles from bamboos.
For every bamboo plant that falls to make a bike, the company plants 10 more.
