Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti, the Chief Executive Officer of Piwak Natural Health and Clinic, donated relief items worth GH¢40,000.00 to the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Volta Region.

On Saturday, 21st October, 2023, he collaborated with TV XYZ Broadcasting LTD to present relief packages to affected communities in the South Tongu District.

The presentation took place at a short ceremony held in Kundokpo, a suburb of Sogakope within the Agorkpo Electoral Area of the South Tongu District.

The communities that received relief items included Agbeve, Tsatsukope, Adzake, Amuto, Amutinu, Torve, Kuve, and Akplorti in the Agbeve Electoral Area, as well as Zowoenu, Afedome, and Godzekpota in the Agave Afedome/Asidowui Electoral Area, Kundokpo and Agorkpoenu in the Agorkpo Electoral Area, and Agorme in Dzebetato Electoral Area.

On Monday, 23rd October, 2023, Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti, the Director of Piwak Natural Health and Clinic, once again joined Angel TV to present another set of relief packages to the Akosombo Dam spillage victims in Mepe.

These items were received by the North Tongu Member of Parliament, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and the Chiefs of the Mepe Traditional Council at Mepe R/C Primary School premises at a short ceremony.

Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti provided GH¢20,000.00 each to both TV XYZ Broadcasting LTD and Angel TV Broadcasting LTD to purchase items for the victims.

The donated items included bags of rice, toiletries, 2,000 bags of sachet water, mattresses, clothing, footwear, bags of sugar, bags of maize, bags of gari, mosquito coils, cartons of tin tomato, baby diapers, sanitary pads, toilet rolls, cooking oils, bathing soap, and others.

Additionally, he distributed cartons of 3P Garlic mixture, a herbal medicine and immune booster produced by Piwak Natural Health Centre.

The people expressed their gratitude to Piwak, TV XYZ, and Angel TV for their generous donations.

Notably, the 3P Garlic mixture, a product of Piwak Natural Health Centre, received recognition as the best herbal product in Ghana, winning an award at the Jupiter Radio and Television Personality (JRTP) Awards night held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Madina, Accra.
