Information reaching us has confirmed that, the Ghana Police Service has swiftly arrested a supposed government vehicle driver identified as Godwin Bayor alias Yaw for allegedly assaulting ‘commercial sex worker’.
Earlier, Coverghana.com.gh has published an article on a young man who was driving a Government vehicle with registration number (GV-127-16) seen physically assaulting a young lady in a viral video after refusing to pay the commercial sɛx worker on an agreed cost after “chopping her tonga.”
According to the Police report, the ape Coast Police Arrest 42-Year-Old Driver Captured on an Audio-Visual Tape Assaulting a Woman
The Central Regional Police Command has arrested a 42-year-old driver, Godwin Bayor alias Yaw for allegedly assaulting a woman on March 6, 2022, at Cape Coast.
His arrest follows a Police investigation into a viral audio-visual tape intercepted in which a man was captured assaulting a lady in the night. The victim subsequently lodged a complaint of assault at the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU), Cape Coast, today Sunday, March 13, 2022.
The suspect is currently in Police custody assisting the investigation.
