Arrested 28-year-old guy who used fake KNUST certificate to join Police Training School
Ghana Police Service has arrested a 28-year-old guy for using fake Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to join the Police Training School.
The victim Sadam Sumaila faked a KNUST certificate to enroll in Police Training School at the Pwalugu Police Training School, Upper East Region.
He, Sadam Sumaila applied with a university. His fake KNUST was not spotted early in the process.
The action that called for the attention of his arrest was that he complained about the rank he was being trained for despite his having and applying with a degree.
Based on his complaint, the Police officials at the training school interrogated him (Sadam) about the forged KNUST certificate (Second Class Honours -Upper Class).
After thorough scrutiny of his documents by the authorities, it was revealed that the certificate was fake.
The victim also, agreed that he is fully aware of the crime he committed. He confessed that the forged certificate was created during the COVID era, 2020.
