Prez. Nana Addo Speaks on Mr. Martin Amidu’s Resignation

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu
President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo has reacted to the resignation of Mr. Martin Amidu as special prosecutor.
Special Prosecutor, Mr. Martin Amidu yesterday tendered in his resignation letter to President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo after three (3) years of working as Special Prosecutor.
Reacting to Mr. Martin Amidu’s resignation letter, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo indicated that he has taken note of Mr. Martin Amidu’s resignation letter and matters raised by the Special Prosecutor in it.
A statement from the Presidency said “President Akufo-Addo has also taken due note of the other matters raised by the
Special Prosecutor in his letter of resignation, and the presidency will issue a
detailed response to them shortly”
The statement from the Presidency also indicated that the President, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo has directed the Chief of Staff to contact Mr. Martin Amidu to resolve all outstanding matters consequent upon his resignation.
