The Private Water Suppliers Association in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region has threatened to demonstrate against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government for their failure to pay them for their free water supplied to the public in the Municipality especially those at Chiraa.
According to the Organiser of the Association, Mr. Eric Frimpong, the members of the Association were contracted to provide free water to the people after the President’s announces an initiative of free water during the novel Covid-19 pandemic.

The Association’s indicated that, they have fulfilled the agreements by supplying free water to the people of Chiraa and other communities but their monies have not been paid by government since July 2020.
The aggrived Members of Private Water Supplies Association are prepared to demonstrate within this week for their unpaid money due them.

Mr. Eric Frimpong added that, the Sunyani West Assembly has done nothing by helping in the payment of their money they own the members of the Association.
They are therefore appealing to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as matter of urgency to listen to their plea to pay them within this week else they will demonstrate against the government.
