Dr. John Boiquaye has graduated as a Valedictorian from the University of Ghana, Legon (UG) School of Graduate Studies.
Early life of John Boiquaye, Basic school,
Dr. John Boiguaye was born as the third of four (4) children to Mr. and Mrs. Boiquaye.
He attended John attended St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School to study Science from 2001 to 2004.
Since his secondary education, he has had a strong interest in Mathematics.

Tertiary/University Education
- After completing Senior High School, John proceeded to the University of Ghana in 2006 where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree.
- During this period, he realized the importance of building resilience, appreciating understanding, and paying attention to detail.
- John earned his Master of Philosophy in Mathematics degree in 2013 from the University of Ghana.
- During the process, he had the honour of receiving the 2012 Carnegie Next Generation of African Academics Scholarship and served as a Graduate Assistant in the Department that same year.
- In 2014, he was engaged as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department, and he has remained in that position to date.
Dr. John Boiquaye Ph.D. programme/studies
In 2017, Dr. John Boiquaye enroled in the Ph.D. programme and benefited greatly from the UG-BANGA Africa Project, which allowed him to work with his Supervisor in Dresden and complete his Ph.D. on schedule.
Dream of Dr. John Boiquaye
Dr. Boiquaye is passionate about supporting the advancement of Mathematics in this nation and assisting the youth in overcoming their fear of the subject. One of his goals is to advance through the ranks and reach greater academic heights, among other things.
Dr. John Boiquaye’s hobby
Dr. John Boiquaye enjoys reading and listening to music. He reads /or plays drums during his free time.
Family, children, marriage
Dr. Boiquaye is a father of two (2). He tied the knot with his other half, Dr. Perpetual Andam Boiquaye, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Ghana.
