The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is accepting applications from all interested applicants who want to be trained in ICT.
Youth in ICT (DIGITAL TRAINING MODULE)
The agency in their publication listed three (3) broad areas of interest programme for students and would-be beneficiaries to apply for study.
The listed areas for the ICT training are as follows:
BASIC DIGITAL SKILLS
- Microsoft Applications -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project.
- Social Media – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter (X) and Instagram.
- Email (Microsoft Outlook) – Scheduling and Managing Events; Managing Appointments.
- Understanding Search Engine.
- Tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, and others).
REQUIREMENTS
The selected applicants of this course:
- MUST be a Junior, senior high school, or tertiary graduate.
INTERMEDIATE DIGITAL SKILLS
- Mobile App Development with Flutter.
- Web Design.
- Web Development with Django.
REQUIREMENTS
The selected applicants of this course MUST:
- Be a senior high school or tertiary graduate.
- Have prior experience of using digital devices (computers, laptops, tablets) or the internet.
ADVANCE DIGITAL SKILLS
- Machine Learning with Python.
- Animation Design.
- Data Analytics.
REQUIREMENTS
The selected applicants of this course MUST:
- Be a tertiary graduate or technology professional who wishes to garner digital skills for specific work or study purposes.
- Have prior experience of using digital devices (computers, laptops, tablets) or the internet.
