Robert Geoffrey Burrow MBE is a retired English professional rugby league player. He played his whole 16-year professional career with Leeds Rhinos in the Super League, making over 400 matches between 2001 and 2017.
Burrow was renowned as “the smallest player in the Super League” for many years. Despite this, he was one of the competition’s most successful players, winning eight Super League championships, and two Challenge Cups, being chosen to the Super League Dream Team three times, and earning the Harry Sunderland Trophy twice.
He disclosed on December 19, 2019, that he had been diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND). In the 2021 New Year’s Honours List, he was named Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contributions to the Rugby League and the motor neuron disease community on December 30, 2020.
