Robert Christopher Riley is an actor with Trinidadian and Bajan ancestry who has achieved great success in American film, television, and theater. He became well-known for his depiction of Terrence Wall in the hit VH1 drama series Hit The Floor, which enthralled viewers from 2013 until 2016.
Riley is also well-known for playing Michael Culhane in The CW’s 2017 remake of the classic series Dynasty. He keeps making a difference in the entertainment world with his diverse talent and commitment.
Riley was born and reared in Brooklyn, but his mother and father both had roots in Trinidad and Barbados, respectively. He participated extensively in the drama club at Brooklyn Technical High School and displayed his physical ability as a safety for the Engineers’ football team while attending the school. He attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to continue pursuing his love, and there he graduated with a B.A. in theater in 2003. Riley, who played college football while also writing and directing his theatrical script, decided to pursue a Masters’s in Theater from Ohio University in 2006 because of his dedication to his profession.
