Samia Suluhu Hassan is a Tanzanian politician and 6th President of Tanzania. She has been in office as President since 2021.
She belongs to the Social democrat, Chama Cha Mapinduzi political party.
Suluhu is the third female head of Government in an East African country and the first ever female President of Tanzania.

Ameir Hafidh Abubakar, husband of Samia  is a retired agricultural professional and academic scholar in Tanzania.
Hafidh has so far been noted to have kept a low profile as he is rarely even seen in public with the President who is his wife.
Their union is blessed with four amazing children with their second and daughter trailing after her mother in politics.
