The Assin Central Constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Kennedy Agyapong has been dragged to the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service by Sammy Gyamfi.
The Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has today, Thursday, 6th August, 2020 filed a formal compliant at the CID headquarters against Kennedy Agyapong for threatening his life.

According to the Lawyers of Sammy Gyamfi, they deemed it necessary to officially report the matter to the CID following Kennedy Agyapong’s open verbal threat on the Accra-Based Asempa FM during Ekosisen programme on 4th August, 2020.
In the Criminal Complaint signed by Beatrice Annangfio, they feel that Sammy Gyamfi’s life is under threat because it was the same Kennedy Agyapong who threatened to kill the late Ahmed Suale at the same Radio station on Ekosisen programme and he was subsequently killed by unknown persons.
Sammy Gyamfi is therefore calling on the CID to swiftly commence investigation into the matter since he believes that Kennedy Agyapong’s actions cause serious offence under the Criminal Offences Act of Ghana, 1960 (Act 29).
