Serwaa Amihere Questions decisions taken by President Nana Akufo Addo in his Covid-19 Update

Broadcast journalist with GHOne Television Serwaa Amihere has questioned some of the decisions taken by the President on Covid-19.

During President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s 23rd update to the national on the measures take again the spread of Covid-19, the President announced a ban on all large gatherings.

Following the announcement, Serwaa Amihere has questioned the motive behind the President’s decision to ban large social gatherings such as weddings and funerals excluding churches and mosques.

Serwaa Amihere also quizzed if churches and mosques are not large gatherings like funerals and weddings.

In a tweet, Serwaa Amihere asked “We’re banning large gatherings but allowing churches and mosques? Are they not large gatherings too?”
